Prior to establishing M3 Ventures in 2015, Martin was a Partner at Relativity Media where he oversaw endorsements, licensing and business development for the firm. Previously, Martin was an executive at Creative Artists Agency where he co-founded their Consumer/Retail practice managing licensing for top consumer brands and clients on behalf of CAA. He began his career in investment banking at Ladenburg Thalmann and later became a Partner of several publicly traded private equity companies including Endeavor Acquisition Corp. collectively managing over $1 billion in institutional capital. Martin graduated from George Mason University and Western Michigan University.
Tracy brings nearly a decade of retail and consumer brand growth experience to the firm. She has executed over 35 investments in leading lifestyle and commerce businesses. Areas of expertise include health and wellness; DTC fashion and apparel; beauty; food, beverage and hospitality; and cannabis and CBD. Prior to M3 Ventures, Tracy was a Vice President at Sandbridge Capital, a middle market private equity firm founded with the backing of Tommy Hilfiger. She worked on the firm’s growth equity activities with investments such as Thom Browne, and the firm’s venture investments, including FarFetch and Tamara Mellon. Before joining Sandbridge Capital, Tracy worked as a business development consultant at TRAUB Associates, a retail-focused advisory firm founded by former Bloomingdale’s CEO Marvin Traub. Prior to TRAUB, Tracy worked at Credit Suisse in the Retail & Consumer Investment Banking division in New York City. Tracy graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Urban Studies.
Prior to joining M3 in 2018, Dean was the Creative Director of Michael Andrews Bespoke, a custom menswear brand where he oversaw everything from design direction, marketing, and branding to the launch of the company’s foray into e-commerce and other various strategic initiatives. Prior to joining Michael Andrews, Dean was the CEO and Founder of his eponymous label, Charles Dean, which was acquired by Michael Andrews in early 2016. Previously, Dean worked at Ralph Lauren, where he cut his teeth in the men’s wholesale division across the Polo and RLX brands. He graduated from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in Economics.
